Shooting Disciplines
Steel Challenge
A friendly, fast-paced shooting sport on steel plates — a great entry point for new shooters and an easy-recoil option for anyone who wants to stay in the game.
Steel shooting offers a port of entry to the shooting sports that is far less intimidating than practical shooting. It's an excellent starting place for young or beginning shooters, and a gentler option for shooters who have begun to feel the effects of age — a way to stay involved in the shooting sports.
The Nampa Rod & Gun Club offers Monday practice from April through September for anyone wishing to shoot .22 LR rifle or centerfire handguns. It's a casual shooting event, but safe firearms handling is always the top priority. Bring your family and enjoy a night of inexpensive shooting.
